9th Annual Blue & Hall Trout Brawl

Tournament Rules
Entry Fee: $100.00 per boat, up to 3 adults. $25 for additional fisherman on boat
Entry fee & Sign-Up Form can be mailed in, or paid at Blue & Hall Marina. Entry
deadline is Friday, November 18th at the Captain’s Meeting.
Capt. Mtg: Blue & Hall Marina; Nov 18th at 6:00pm. Giveaways for those who attend.
Location: Blue & Hall Marina. All boats must leave from a Georgia port but must arrive at Blue
& Hall Marina for weigh in in order to be accepted for this tournament.
Time: Fishing time begins at daylight
Weigh-in time is between 2:00 – 4:00PM by certified DNR personnel.
Awards will begin at 4:30 pm.
Fish fry afterwards ($10 for non-fisherman) - fish, fries & slaw.
Members of McIntosh Rod & Gun Club will be frying the caught fish & serving food starting immediately after weigh in.
Species: Speckled Sea Trout - 3 fish aggregate
Weigh In: All fish accepted for weigh-in must be brought by boat, caught on Tournament Day, unmutilated,
in fresh, edible condition, and available for inspection. Weigh your top 3
Trout (do not need 3 fish to qualify). All fish weighed become the property of the
tournament. You may weigh a live fish and release the fish in good condition. In case of
a tie, the fish that were weighed in first- win. Fish must be taken by rod & reel. Only one
aggregate prize will be awarded per boat. Decisions of the Tournament Committee are
final.
• All boats must return to dock under their own power. Any boat experiencing
mechanical failure or running out of fuel will be disqualified.
• All fish must be checked/weighed in prior to boat being remove from water
otherwise, you be disqualified.
• If any participating boat needs additional bait, they can come back to BNH marina
to buy bait. Captain must communicate with any club official upon arrival.
Radio: The VHF-FM tournament frequency will be channel 16
Prizes: Will pay top 12 places; 1st place guaranteed $1500.00.
Ø Payouts for 2nd-12th based on 30 boats~ Last place wins $100
Ø There will be a prize for ‘Biggest Kids Trout’ and ‘Biggest Red’ for youth
12 and under.
Ø BNH Marina will pay an additional $50 to the winner if they departed
from Blue & Hall Marina.
Ø Tournament Within a Tournament competition for single biggest Trout,
Redfish. $20 entry -each category
Ø All State Laws are to be abided by.
Winners may be subject to polygraph test
